Hypnotic Emporium Ice Cream, located right next to the famous Hypnotic Donuts on Garland Road near the south side of White Rock Lake, is opening soon and we were asked to fabricate and install this fun cute looking sign for their new store. We also made the Hypnotic Donuts sign years back and this new one for their ice cream venture definitely “one-up’d” that one.
The sign features a discontinued and difficult to find anodized brushed gold returns (we found the last batch in Atlanta, GA), along with a matching gold trimcap on an aluminum backplate with wireway, this slanted sign is small but pulls your eye, due to the angle of installation (on purpose of course). We used our Samsung-chip based LEDs to internally illuminate this sign, so hopefully although it’s white, it will be brighter than most of the other signs on the strip at night (nothing will be brighter than the Hypnotic Donuts sign at night since that one was made with red neon).
