Giant Sign was able to help Urban Taco update their existing waterfall sign. We designed, fabricated and installed 1” acrylic faces painted purple Matthews on an aluminum panel painted teal Matthews. The waterfall adds a special touch to the sign.

Mille Lire in Oak Lawn

Mille Lire is the most recent restaurant that Giant Sign was asked to provide exterior signage for by the designers at Coeval Studio.  This Italian restaurant opening this fall at The Centrum in Oak Lawn (corners of Oak Lawn, Cedar Springs and Wellborn) “will be chef Giuliano’s nod to ‘la doce vita’  or ‘the sweet life’ of his childhood, but with new, inspired ingredients,”.  Giant Sign was asked to fabricate and install two sets of Exposed Neon Channel Letters, one on each elevation facing the street.  We used 3” deep channel letter coil; painting the cans inside out along with the trimcap the dark blue spec provided by Coeval.  The neon used is a spurred single-stroked white neon which we also created clear faces for to protect from birds nesting and potential hail storms.  Wiring access was a complicated issue on this one until the client’s agreed to cut access panels through granite ceilings, as they wanted the flush/direct mounted look. We also fabricated and install a 1/4″ brushed bronze flat cut aluminum letters pin-mounted to wall. In the end, the clients were happy with how these signs turned out.

Four Corners Brewing Company

Giant Sign designed, fabricated, and installed 1) a flat cut-out letters and etched window vinyl, and 2) a routed out of ¼” Aluminum, welded with studs, painted white and spaced off the wall 1 inch, per the customer’s design provided. We also also applied the Four Corners Brewing Company’s large rooster logo in an etched glass vinyl on their large set of windows of the brewery.  This both gives them a subtle yet effective branding on the focal point of the large set of windows that peer into the large operations of beer vats and it also helps cut down on some of the direct sunlight that hits them in the morning.

Green Oaks Physical Therapy in Cedar Hill

Our long-time client, Green Oaks Physical Therapy was relocating their Cedar Hill office to another location within city limits and so they reached out to Giant Sign to help them with this process.  Giant Sign removed their older channel letter sign (which we had previously made and installed 5-6 years earlier) from their old location.  This older sign which was still in decent condition featured neon-lit channel letters, a brushed aluminum backplate and raceway.  Since a few of the neon units were broken and the client wanted to do an LED conversion to save on his power costs, we removed all the neon and neon transformers and replaced with white LEDs and power supplies.  The old trimcap was also in poor condition, so we went ahead and did that as well.

The client also asked us to make a much larger, new sign with similar features for over their entrance, so we went ahead and created this set of LED lighted channel letters on brushed aluminum backplate with a wireway.  Along with pole sign and window vinyl, the customer was extremely happy with how everything turned out.
